that is 71 years old and in good shape.

He's a good friend of mine who would like "greek statue" type nudes done of him.

I have:

2 - 8 ft light stands
2 45" umbrellas
420EX
580EXII
Blue 10x12 muslin
(camera/lenses are in my sig)

I'm still trying to find a proper location, so not sure about the use of natural light yet.

I'm very new to portraiture, so tips and techniques would be appreciated.

If you're going for a statuesque style, the 'sexy' style of a nude becomes mute. Just handle it like any other portrait. You can find good info on here about light placement. Also search google for 'two light studio placement' or something like that. I would also look at photos of statues to get an idea where the lighting was placed for those shots to get a starting point for your shoot.
