is this a new fad? i keep seeing all these nice computers with these units and wondering if it is worth it?
nice hard drive sizes and often with nvidia or ati graphics and 2 or more gigs of ram.
well this one does not have ati or nvidia but heres some minor specs

Depends what you want it for?

Would be great for surfing the web, checking email, watching youtube, movies, a bit of downloaded content.
You could write letters on it, manage your household or business accounts.
You could even use it to look at your family snapshots taken with your little point and shoot.

Try and use it as an editing work station however, and you might have a few issues with it's performance.

yeah i don't do much photography now days and have been making due my currently dieing laptop with 1 gig of ram and 250 gig hard drive so a majority of things would be like itunes, word processing, movie watching etc
mostly what shoots i do get to do and nothing super serious
