Recfently upgraded my machine from Vista 64 to win 7 64.
I use 2 Nnidia 280s in SLI.
Since the move to Win 7 and installation of latest drivers. I no longer have the option to turn on SLI.
The system sees both cards and the EVGA control utility can adjust them both.
I just can't turn on SLI in the nvidia control panel. That option is missing. What the heck?
Any suggestions?

I use CrossFire and Win7 default drivers didn't work for the second card - it was just default graphics card, but once I installed the latest ATI drivers everything worked fine. Dumb question, but you're using the latest nVidia drivers?

Yes When I first installed Win 7 as a upgrade on my Running Vista 64 box I was using the second to last most recent WHQL drivers fron Nvidia, then I installed the latest WHQL drivers from Nvidia. Same issue.
Currently I am running the most recent beta release drivers and still have the issue.
Thanks for the questions.... you never know what might make a light come on and ghelp me figure this out!

Im running 2 x 280 in SLI on Win 7 Pro 64bit.
Uninstall all drivers.
Restart with the "main" 280 installed and not the other.
Power up, Install latest NVIDIA driver, restart and insure its working.
Power down. Install 2nd card. Open control panel...should work.

It turns out the problem was very close to this. I powered down the machine removed the SLI bridge and powered back on. SLI option was now there in the driver/nvidia control panel box.
Powered doen again reinstalled SLI bridge and all is well!
THANKS for all the great advice. If nothing else it kept me from giving up hope!
