Well, I was there Sunday but it did rain Saturday and from what I heard it was a monsoon. Judging by the state of the areas behind the Armco and mud over my boots I can believe it. There will be another post for my Saturday shoot at Oulton Park, in the meantime enjoy the results of my trip way north. I was there on assignment to cover the Legends racing, but you have to get everything, sometimes just for fun....

Max-5 racing. Boy can these guys drift corners:

And the reason I was there:

And this was a signal to me as Peter Morton had come from the back of the grid to win this race (they operate a reverse grid):

And finally, how about a 650bhp Ford Fiesta - this was lightning fast:

As an amusing anectdote - I was processing the images and those with a lot of sky in the background appeared to have big chunks of sensor dust. After a lot of cursing and clicking on the healing brush, I noticed the bits of dust had wings and they were in fact seagulls. :o
