Had to find Polaris by way of cheap compass due to all the light pollution from the street lights... I was just a couple degrees off.

59 pics x 31s(Total of 31m28s), f/2.8, ISO 100, 40d, Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8, EOS Utility timer. Only PP is added each pic as separate layer in PS and lightened each layer.

Exact same as above only with the airplane flyby layer added, Total Time 32m

First one is best , shame about the plain trails .

Very nice. Planes are a constant hazard in this field......:D

Nice captures. I actually like the one with the plane trail a little better given all the light pollution that is present. Might be time for a road trip to a darker spot when the moon is dark as well.;)

Nice shot, I wanna try and get some night shots but it's been very cloudy lately. :(

Wow, I like the second one because of the plane. It adds something unique to it :)

They look great. Nice job, especially for a first attempt.
