Please be more specific about the brand and model of the radio components.

From the other thread, it looked like you ordered the regular CST (not CyberCommander) to be paired with a CSR+ (or CSRB+ --doesn't matter). That means all you have to worry about is channels! :) Nothing else. If you had the CyberCommander, then it'd be a different story.

So just make sure the CST and the CSR+/CSRB+ are pointing to the same number.

By the way, did you but the + receivers hoping to get the CyberCommander one day?

bought one + receiver, need to buy another one tomorrow morning before the full order ships out.

CSR+/CSRB+ >>>>> now im confused already lol if i buy another receiver it'll be the same thing right? And where or how do you point them to the same # on the receivers right? And what about in camera settings, i have a 7d.

thx

Lol. Sorry. Didn't mean to confuse you, Bob.

Do you remember in the other thread where you listed your order? And then I asked why you ordered the + receiver model?

Well... Alienbees has 4 types of receivers. They are as follows:
CSR+ is a CyberSync Receiver that has the capability to control the light other than just triggering it to fire when paired with a CyberCommander.
CSRB+ is a CyberSync Receiver Battery-powered. It's the same as above except it runs on batteries instead of plugging into your B800's power.

CSR is just a receiver that trips the flash unit.
CSRB is the same as a CSR except it runs on batteries.

Since you ordered the CST (CyberSync Transmitter), I highly recommend you use the non + receiver models. That way you save a few bucks. Change your CSR+/CSRB+ (whichever you ordered) to a CSR/CSRB.

CST is like a CyberCommander except that the CyberCommander can control a flash unit's power if triggered by CSR+/CSRB+ . A CST on the other hand just triggers. Nothing more.

It's the "B" without the "+" that you need. Lol. See if you can exchange it and get credit for your second CSRB order.

See what happens when you're being a hasty Bob? :D

No problem. This forum has helped me tons, too, when I was in the market for OCF/strobist. Glad to lend a hand.
