I have a 5D mark II and a 24-105mm lens. I am looking for a sturdy everyday bag that can fit this camera with the lens and some other accessories like the battery charger. I have been looking at the Lowepro Nova 160AW and Lowepro Rezo 170 AW as well as the Lowepro Nova 3. Please help me decide. I am not sure if the first two choices will fit this camera and lens.
Thanks

What's the budget? Does it have to look good?
I'd get a Lowepro Classified series, Stealth Reporter D100 AW, Think Tank Photo Urban Disguise 20 or 30, Speed Demon (beltpack) or Crumpler 5 Million Dollar House. I personally prefer Think Tank products.

Domke F-5XB will handle that easily. But why do you want to carry the charger around with you all the time?

It doesn't have to look good. I am looking to spend no more than $60 and I do not have to carry the charger with me. But for long trips, I would like to.
Thanks

When I carry just the 5D-II with 24-105, I use the Domke F-5XB. I think you could get the charger in there too, but I wouldn't carry it when out walking around and shooting.

Will the crumbler 5 MD handle this camera with the 24-105mm lens attached?

I've used the Think Tank Speed Demon as a daily bag, and while it's great for working quickly, it doesn't exactly fit as a shoulder bag despite the fact that it comes with a shoulder strap. The Urban Disguise would be better for shoulder carrying. I would think about getting a Domke as they are very comforming to the side of your body.

Another vote for the Domke F5. It works great as a small stealth kit. I especially like the olive green color (its the only color I choose, actually - it just tends to make it look like a military issue bag - ie, not a camera bag)

If you want a sweet little backpack, check out the Kata DR-461. I just posted a review from a woman's perspective today. The pack is $60 free shipping and $20 store credit right now at B&H.

I often use 4 MDH for that combination, rather tightly I admit; so 5 MDH will definitely fit with perhaps some spare space.

The Lowepro Classified 140 is what I use for that setup. I have an RRS L plate on it, no grip, and the bag fits the camera and attached 24-105, and a 580 II Speedlite. Very compact.
