Thanks Guys..

Bruce.. I don't know if they ever hurt themselves that badly.. but we did see a few with battle scars.. bent or broken primary feathers.. etc..

And there were a few times where upon resurfacing they would just sort of sit there for a secnd in a breif yet obvious "daze" ... they'd gather there thoughts before taking flight again.

Ian I think these might have been from the highway bridge itself... early Friday before you all arrived? Not sure though.. but judging from the where the net was (cropped out but sort of noticeable in the first image) I was definitely on the side where the mill is, not over by the powerplant.

Lagoon? According to MapQuest, that was a pond we were standing beside. :confused:
