Other than that - well positioned, and the walkway draws you in - nice! (I wonder whether the two guys siding the place were talking to one another [one went vertical, the other horizontal). ;)

I really like the way the lines flow (the walk way as mentioned). If your post-processing, how about punching the colors in the barn out, and then softening the trees either in color or some fashion to bring the barn out a bit, maybe exposure? The barn seems to hide with the color of the leaves and trees a bit.

If you have to ask the question, you won't understand the answer!!

HDR = High Dynamic Range i.e. increasing the amount of detail in shadows and highlights. However, it has also come to mean increasing saturation and colour depth to almost unatural levels - that's not a criticism, just an observation. Other members may have a slightly different interpretation or much better description.

This image is my kind of HDR: not overdone. Good composition and interesting subject make attractive image.

Lovely Picture, It pulls me in!

The Only Thing i noticed Is the sky top left of the image, not really much you can do about it, unless you introduce some dodge and burn?

I Would be chuffed if my first HDR was like this, i could never get it right ;)

take the hood back, and reshoot - you almost have the makings of a perfect picture to sell to hallmark for them to make into a puzzle!

Thanks for the nice comments/ suggestions...
Like I said, it was my first Successful hdr.
Several other scenes just didnt come out so good.

I am planning on going back in early march when things are in full bloom with the hood this time. Actually I could have used my hand to block the sun if I had noticed at the time.
I was kinda hurried because there was a line of people wanting to go into the mill (it was actually grinding corn ) Its a very popular tourist area near Gatlinburg, TN.

I used photomatix
