Hey all,
I happened to end up at a motocross and luckily had my camera gear along.
Here are a few shots. Please let me know what I could do better.
Shots are taken with a 20D and a 70-200 f/4L with 1.4TC.

Nice action shots
Clone out the legs in the first at the top of the pic!

Perhaps a little fill in flash? What were you camera settings?

The second looks slightly overexposed

Here we go again, David! ;) I agree on the fill flash, but "The second looks slightly overexposed"? I'd say under!:D

I would never have thought to use fill flash on racing photos. The first shot is 1/800 f11 ISO 400 and the second shot is 1/500 f/9 ISO 400. Fill flash would definitely help on the second shot but do you think a fill flash would make much difference in such bright light at those shutter speeds?

Fill flash would definitely help on the second shot but do you think a fill flash would make much difference in such bright light at those shutter speeds? Bright light = dark shadows, no? Fill would make a difference, but you'd have to drop down to your cams flash sync speed.

Sorry Frank - I did mean underexposed - I think one thing and my fingers type another! Its a problem I have at the moment - I told someone to meet me at 8:45 when they didn't turn up I went back home only to find I'd typed 9:45!!!! Hope to see a specialist soon! ;)

Hope to see a specialist soon! Maybe you just need a proofreader? :D
Typing with only 2 fingers gives me time to think about it. I was laughing the other day when this kid was typing at about 200wpm. Then he spent 2 minutes backspacing & correcting!
