The cormorants were really hard to shoot. Black feathers on a dull day do not make for a heck of a lot of contrast. These guys were busy diving and trying to catch lunch. It was funny to watch since as soon as one of them came up with a fish, he was gang tackled by the rest of them. They did not have the highest success ratio. Two gulps and lunch disappeared.

This place had lobster rolls to die for.

I have it on good authority that The lobster rolls were a bit more tasty than the raw herring.... ;)
