This is the famous Grackle that hung around our side of the cove. you had to have special access in order to shoot from that side. Scott, Shedlon and I managed to get that special pass:):):)

Just behind the "special access" area there was mommy goose sitting on her nest. I love geese, any type of geese. (you will notice that I did not say goose.:))

How you guys managed to sneak into the easy access, handicapped section, eludes me. CDS and I had a heck of a time working our way down the steep embankment from the road to the pond's edge, all the while carrying our heavy gear, trying to keep balance and avoid the poison ivies. :confused:

lo,.. Mother Goose...

Yep,.. Poison Ivy, Sunburn and about fifty black fly bites (and a few mosquito bites too) ... all well worth it!
