Carolina Motorsports park advice/pointers

A friend of mine has asked me to go to a track day he is going to at Carolina Motorsports park. I haven't done track pictures before and was hoping for a little advice. I have read the stickies for as much general info as I can get.

My longest lens is a 70-200, will this be good for much at this venue?

Where will I be allowed to take pictures for a track day?

What are good locations?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your the official photog for the event they will allow you out on the track, but only inside the corner worker locations. I have used a 70-200 there before but is a bit short for where they make you shoot from. Thing I hate about the track is all the corner post that will be I every shot. Hope that helps
