I am using demo versions of:
Photomatix Pro
Dynamic Photo HDR
alignment is turning out to be an issue (can't remember to bring my tripod!) and am having difficulty working alignment problems.

bring your tripod, it makes a world of difference, or just shoot 1 raw and make 2 other exposures, i am happy with Photomatix Pro, but even more no that i use it with CS4 Photoshop.

Photomatix Pro and almost always run the result through CS2.
Sometimes blend 2 tonemaps of the same set in CS2.
I didn't get good results with alignment once from handheld and have been only tripod ever since.
Perhaps the newer versions are better at it but I haven't tried.

looks like Photomatix Pro is the clear winner

I use Photomatix Pro.
I tried using the free QTPFSGUI for a while and quite liked the results, but it kept crashing on me, so I dumped it and forked out for photomatix.
So far, I'm totally happy with it!

Been using Photomatix Pro after trying a couple of others. All the tutorials I have on HDR advocate using Photomatix, so I broke down and got it. I use only a few tweaks with it, the top few sliders under the Details Enhancer tab, then tweak the results using Lightroom.
