Hi,
When shooting I can view the JPEG's and RAW's from my 20D perfect on the P2000.

However when I'm trying to put some reworked versions back on the P2000 after PS they refuse to show, my 10D pictures go without a problem.
First I thought is was the size, but even on crops from a 20D picture it refuses.

When lowering the res in PS they still won't show.
HOWEVER when using a third party program WatermarkerPro and setting them on slightly smaller they immediatly work ?

Anyone else have this problem ?

What size in mb are the files? Have You updated the firmware? One of the updates in the new firmware allows bigger files.

I have updated the firmware, and the files range from 500kb to 4MB.
Also when I resize in PS the problem stay's even when I make it 1024x768 when I take a 10D picture even without resizing it shows.

HOWEVER when I resize my 20D pictures with windows or another simple programm they do show up on the P2000. Maybe it has something to do with Exiff info ????

I will test this tonight to see if it is a general problem.

"Old" jpeg's or jpeg 2000.
I've found some programs are picky about which type of jpeg they'll display.

I don't see this problem.

I can see following images fine:

- 300D edited and resized with PS CS
- 20D edited and resized with PS CS
- 20D edited and resized with PS CS2 (used both save as & save for web)

I could not see some 20D JPEGs on my P2000 one time. I don't know what workflow produced it, by somehow I had saved them as 'progressive' JPEGs. I went back and re-saved them as 'standard' (the option is available in the dialog box where you choose the quality of the file) and they were fine.

Maybe this has happened to you.

Good luck.

I will check that I never save for web.
I alway's save in the highest possible way, but Tiff eat away my HDD :D, will check the progressive setting.

What's your working color space in Photoshop, and what color profile do you assign to the files that you're putting back on the P2000?

Working space is ARGB and also the space I store in, but this hasn't changed from the 10D.
Also when I store in sRGB the problem is there, I will check the progressive setting although that also didn't change from my 10D to 20D, strange.
It should display ALL JPEG's I guess.

Are the files being put in the PC folder? I think thats is where they have to reside if you are not copying off a media card directly to the p2K

They are copied in an album directory, they show up in tumbnails but not large.

have you tried copying them to the PC file and then creating an album with them from that file?

No,
But why would that be different ?
The 10D files show up perfectly it are only the 20D files which don't show large.

But I will try somethings tonight.
