I am looking for suggestions on a remote shutter release for the Canon 50D.

Should I choose the "Canon" one for the 50D or go with a 3rd party... cordless is attractive but not necessary.

I bought my 20D/30D (works for 50D?) from hvstar.net (may be maxsaver.net or something now) for like 6 bucks plus shipping. Works PERFECTLY...and it's 95% cheaper than the Canon would have been locally :)
