Went to Stunt Fest at Hawaii Raceway Park. I wanted to try panning. Man, is it difficult! 1st, I got off to a late start. I didn’t arrive at the track until almost 7:00. And 2nd, the track is so poorly lit. Anyway, all the shots here were taken in AV @ f8 800 - 3200 iso. Average shutter speed was ~1/80.

808 you did a pretty good job under the circumstances. Looks like these guys belong in the "Hey you guys, watch this" catagory.

Wow! I give much much respect to those that are stunt'n on the R1's (and others). I have owned a couple R1's to include the new '04 ('05's are the same) I currently ride. Goodness knows they are not the best stunt bikes due to there higher than normal balance point. Don't get me wrong they are one of the best overall bikes IMO. It just takes slightly bigger balls to stunt on one. My hats off to those guys.

Great Shots. I keep thinking about the road rash if one of these guys falls. Especially the last shot of the guy in the green t-shirt that his hiked up.

Yeah I'm on there under the same name. Not as much as I use to be. Especially lately because I've moved to another part of the state. With work and all and a great family I love spending time with (we just got married in Feb). It's hard to squeeze in time for the bike.

Very nice shots 808. However the first 6 images were shot at ISO 800 according to the EXIF data.

Nice shots.
Always stuns me tho, the daftness of stunting (or just riding) in t-shirts.

Your right, I went back and checked. I did start shooting at 800 and moved to 3200 as the sun went down. Sorry for the misinformation.

I thought they looked a little noisier towards the end.
Those guys are absolute idiots though. I see nothing wrong with doing things like that but they need to put some gear on. Those Etnies are going to do nothing for him when he gets thrown off that bike. Wow, I sound old but I'm only 25.

Great shots in challenging conditions. I agree with Surfkhaki, obviously protective gear is for sissies...
