pretty nice shots, they all seem pretty noisy but maybe it is just the compression of the pictures.


#1 is definitely your best shot. Nice tight crop, good action. Only thing would be to fix the horizon.

#2 nice action shot but it seems a bit OOF the ref seems more in focus than the players.

#3 and #4 are pretty nice could use a bit of PP to make them pop.

overall pretty good shots.

Coach! Glad to see you found your way to POTN. It is a nice place and you can learn a bunch and meet many great people along the way.

Some quick advice on posting:
1) Use your flickr account (if you have one and post the link) - this allows you up to 8 photos in the same post.
2) EXIF Info - Mozilla has a download that allows you read all setting of a photo, if you do not have it, get it - it is a huge help for you and people that view your photos. The photos above have no EXIF, so you should post the gear you used, shutter speed and ISO. (*best way to get CC*)

I really like all shots, you have a natural eye for the action and they are well framed. (but I know you are an experienced sports photog.

They do seem over exposed to me. But I cannot tell how you shot. I also feel that are slightly softer that what I would expect from a daytime photo. This maybe how you saved them for the web. How did you save them?

Dan-O and namasette are two of the regulars who really take great shots and post great CC.

As for Saturday vs. Chatham - looks like rain! My company video's for Chatham Football, so we'll be there - not me, I will be at Summit HS. None of the photogs for Chatham are mine.

If you have a yahoo account then you have a free Flickr account. A Flickr Pro account costs $25/year and is well worth it.
