Took this shot at our local lake ,The Sun was high and very bright
so Swans are a bit blown

Lovely shots, at first I liked the second one most, but on second thoughts the coot makes the first shot, I love the way he is black, the swans are white, he is on his own and they are together and he is going one way the swans the other. Brilliant. Am I reading too much into this :-) :-) :-)

Second shot is definitely cuter, but I like seeing the whole family and the "outsider". If only the highlights weren't blown... I took some shots of a trumpeter swan last weekend and had to underexpose by 1 2/3 stops in order to keep the majority of the feather detail.
