my sunset pics but cloudy

a cloudy sunset but these are my first for this camera. what do you guys think?? i also tried to bring the suns rays into my wifes picture for more effect what do you think???

I like them, the clouds have given a really pleasing "soft" quality to the images and the colours are wonderful. In contrast the shot of your wife looks very cold I would warm it up with a little post processing. Hey this is a good start

The wife pic is way too dark. The sun pic is way too bright. Some of the others on your page I like better (like the one with the poles/antenna?).

i know my wifes pic is dark. i didnt know how to make it brighter seeing as the soon was beating down right at us. those are hydro poles. like i said it was a wierd evening(clouds and such) i hope to get better ones next time, but this is my first time using a digital and i only used fully manual setings

Keep at it. You'll get it. I'm (re)learning everything myself with my new digital after not doing much photography for 6 or so years.
