ACK-E2 - AC adapter

Does anyone have this AC adapter, and if so, how often is it used? I'm debating if I need/should get one just in case, for a local shop has a sale on them right now.

One came with my D60; it's disappeared so I got a replacement, but I mainly use it for the rare firmware upgrade. If I did a lot of indoor photography, or if I didn't want to use a card reader, I might use it, but . . .

I have it mainly so if I need it it's there, I guess. I could see it getting more work if I were doing long-term time-lapse photography, but battery life's good enough that you won't normally need it.
