eraser tool

when i select eraser tool it only shows as a cross hair no matter what size the brush selected.please help.

go into preferences (ctrl+K), display and cursors and there's a setting for that.... select brush size instead of the crosshair

thanks for the quick reply.i closed it down and re opened and it reset itself.
