Nice try. The stars are a bit elongated and a lot of dark areas on the sides.

I like it. What effect does stacking the images have? I am thinking darker skies (more contrast). Could try to get the overall time down so you don't end up with star trails. Just throwing it out there, IDK.

Thanks for the comments :) Stacking images allow to get a better resolution on the details without showing too much noise and it will also brighten the whole image , then you got to work on the tresholds to not over expose it.
The elongated stars come from the lens itself , a lot of distortion at 17mm , and it's even worse at 100% crop :( All I need is actually pose longer with an equatorial mount , this way I'll be able to capture at lower ISO rating ( 100-400 ) and get a better image overall , less grainy and blurry :) And the dark parts come from the sky itself I think , especially on the left on the picture , where low density of stars can be seen with the naked eye.

That's a beauty.....I'll bet you have some nice dark skies to work with as well..

Looking very nice but you really need to frame it to where the MW runs the wide length of your camera frame . You can get more of the MW and it will look even better .

Thank you for the nice comments ;)
And I agree Celestron , my composition pretty much sucks , haha , I didn't think about the MW axis at all while shooting :( I'll try again next year , now that this portion of the sky isn't viewable anymore .

That's a wonderful picture. I've tried to do a similar image from a city in England and my result was nothing compared to yours!
You live in paradise with skies to match :) Don't make us wait another year!

Sweet picture...... I've been trying for a while to figure this out.... Not even close to this quality... What do you mean "Stacking"
