Went out to the park with my sister Lauren and took these shots. All with .raw ....lots of photoshop editing, a 12in reflector, and my 70-200 f/4L. Dont have specifics, but most shots at 200mm w/ f/5-7.1

Pretty eyes, sweet smile. Nice photos. You're going to add a Louiville Slugger to your kit if you plan to take your big brother role serioulsy ;-)

I like the first and the last ones. The middle two feel like they are missing something. Try a few diff methods with the lighting. Mix it up, I'd say.

As for my own personal thoughts....... How old is she and is she single. ;)

great shots, especially last one, she is really beautiful with great smile, doesnt' need to hide her smile too much.

first one also really interesting

Very pretty and nice shots but on two of them her lip gloss is causing a reflection on her lips. Assuming it is lip gloss that's the problem, but on the forst one you'll notice it on her upper lip.

Here's a vote for #1 and the last photo.
She has one of those sparkling smiles that go so well with the pretty green eyes.

All the shots look exposed just right. Was someone with you to hold the reflector? I have one but haven't figured out a good system short of a stand of some sort.

i think these are great. Your sister has a beautiful smile and beautiful eyes . . . that's some great bokeh with that 70-200. i want that lens sooooo bad.

I had her hold the 12in reflector. Most of the pics she didn't mind doing it, but when the sun came out behind a cloud and blinded her she was pretty pissed. I want to invest into some bigger reflectors, but really it's impossible to use them to their fullest extent unless you have a assistant IMO.

Agree with that. My personal favorite is #1 but also #4 is great. Must say that on my monitor they look a little low-contrast, but I'm in the office with the laptop so its probably a problem on my side.

Maybe don't use a silver reflector, but a white, so the light isn't as harsh and you don't have as much of a blinding light. :)

Very beautiful images ... also vote for #1 and #4.

Knowing the sharpness of the 70-200/4.0, I assume you wanted to go for a slightly soft look and did some PS magic accordingly (or just didn't do USM) ... it's ok, but I would have liked it a bit sharper.

If you add a soft filter in PS, try not to apply it to the eyes. Or, vice versa, just apply USM to the eyes.
I think that the effect in the images will be a lot more appealing.

Best regards,
Andy

#1 gets my vote. Something in her expression catches my attetion, don't know what it is, but keeps me looking at it longer than the other 3;) . Wish you could crop it better though.
