The sun came out yesterday and I decided to walk around Pikes Place and take some shots. I've actually never gone out just to shoot random stuff in Seattle before and it was quite fun. I'll have to head out and try this "urban life" thing more often. I also had a stab at BW for the first time. Comments are always welcome!

Excellent. Love Seattle. Very nice, crisp shots and love the high-contrast BW treatment you gave them.

Thanks for all of the positive comments guys. I think I'm going to get 1-3 printed off for my living room, it's so much more fun to create art rather than buy it. As for the technique, I just used the b/w layer in CS4 and played around with the sliders to get the effect that I wanted. I was actually quite surprised at how easy it was to work in b/w since this was pretty much my first time. Thanks again!

nice pictures what lens did you sue for these, your sigma 10-20?

I used my 17-55 or 70-200 for all of the shots, my Sigma 10-20 actually never made it out of the bag that day.
