I was out tonight to look for the Aurora. But there where no activity so I decided to try to capture the Milky way instead. While I am doing that I can see that the Aurora is forming in the East. And in the middle of the exposure the Aurora hit the frame in the West. So this was a lucky shot!

Could it be Superman? It could be a shooting star since the meteorite activity was high last night

Last night was excellent since the air was so crisp. So you could see the stars very good. And in this area there is not much light. There are some houses to the right of the 2nd image. You can see the redness of the light.

And it is even better when you see it yourself. Here on a regular image you don't get the feel of the pulsating movements

Last year was terrible. But this year looks very promising so far. But it all depends on the weather that can switch is minutes here in the Arctic.
