Price would probably be over 2K but I still think it's worth it. I will pre-order when availble ;)

I would pre-order it if I could afford it. But I can't afford it and by the time I can afford it it will be readily available...

So... I'm waiting.

I actually saved enough for this lens (because I thought it would be announced with the 7D) but then I went and spent the money on a new iphone, 100mm 2.8L IS and a 28 1.8. :lol: Oh well at least I HAVE something.

Announcement right before Thanksgiving, hmm. I wonder if they will ship in time for Christmas... IF this turns out to be true, that is! I'm hopeful (the current one is about 10 years old, after all), but I wonder how much better it would be than the current one, and if I would be willing to make the switch.

and the funny thing is B&H price dropped $50 ... i know its not much .. but maybe its a hint ?
