this is strange

so i was like what the heck and went and switched my screen to my laptop and began to tap on the lid switch and it lit up and then went dark.
maybe a techie can explain if its the inverter or the backlight, if its inverter im okay but if its not i am in a world of trouble but i did find the part but i would rather have a shop fix it.

95% chance it's just switching monitors back to a port it shouldn't use. Connect it to a tv or monitor and you should see your desktop.

Press Fn+lcd/crt (it may be an icon, see your laptop manual for more info) and it should be back on

i will try that, it has a set timer of 10 seconds and the backlight isnt lit but can still see the image it works sometimes but not lately

wow i just held the lid switch and it hopped online i can see!

okay one question how do i know if its going out?
the black is really dark on the screen so i am not sure where to adjust it or what to adjust without making everything washed out
