I have recently "gone digital" from my conventional 35mm SLR EOS .To my dissapointment I have been told that I cannot use my ML3 ring Flash or 430 EZ on my D60. Is this true??

I am able to use my 200E, but not the ML-3. I've asked in various fora, but no tips on how to get it to work. You might be able to use the 430EZ in manual mode if it has one, try it and see. Good luck.

EZ series flashes are A-TTL, the D60 uses E-TTL.
The EZ series flashes have to be operated in Manual mode to fire. I have been using a 380EX on mine while my 540EZ gathers dust. I have been happy with the 380EX for the flash work I do and it is a bit less cost than a 550EX.
Sorry...
For a good explanation of flash types and usage on EOS cameras try this site....
