I wouldn't mind having a point and shoot camera again.
Most my basic shots on my site are from a Sony P & S.. Great fun, just not as exciting as a Digital SLR though.

Very interesting, makes some very interesting points towards the end.

I won't mention that an A series sized camera with about 8mp a proper view finder (dosn't have to be SLR), the ablity to use differnt lens from extreme wide angle to extreme telephoto and the speed and functionality of something like a 1D is quite a realistic, if expensive possiblity.

A reason why I refuse to sell my coolpixes, they are great to put in a jacket pocket and not cumbersome to lug around. That guy is great, so it's not all the camera, it's who's behind the viewfinder too.
