I am new to this group and to using my Canon 20D. I am looking forward to your valued advice and suggestions.
This was taken at Natural Bridge State Park in Kentucky

The green sure comes out. Did you tweak it in post-processing? Did you use a polarizing filter?
I think the pic is good, but I'm missing something to look at. There's no clear subject, if you know what I mean.

Yes I did use a polarizing filter and I did brighten in CS2.

this type of picture is only of use to demonstrate colour intensity and the use of filtration .it lacks inpact and there is nowhere fot the eye to focus .try to use the thirds rule and not split the picture directly in to 2 parts..each posting of this type of picture with structured responses will help you improve.
try in future to pic point of interest and centre the picture around that .in this instance the central rock(?) could have been isolated against more sky from a lower angle and you may have depened the sky with a grad filter hope this helps :)
