WOW I just started using a Asahi Pentex Super- Takumar 50/1.4 lens on my Rebel! Was a bit afraid to go "manual" focus… I couldn’t have been more wrong. This lens is circa early 60’s (ya the radio active lens coating) All I can say is wow! Sharp clear images that make my nifty fifty a paper wait! I had to buy the adapter, non-af conformation for about $10.00 but I mat never take it off my second cam again.
