OK... Not sure it this is sport or not! Maybe it's simply transportation (apologies if it's in the wrong place)... but this colourful beastie flew over late yesterday evening. It seemed to be in hot pursuit of another balloon and I thought it was worth sharing... of course you may all disagree *lol*

Seriously - very nice color. We have lightning storms in the evenings where I live - so this is not a popular activity in these parts. Nice " and now for something different" shot from ya.

*LOL* Cheers Crosdail! You can just about make out some folk peering out of the basket! But....OK... no facial expressions to be seen! And, yep, I'd imagine lightning is pretty undesirable when you're floating in one of these beasties!

I went up in one in Africa when I was in highschool...damn do I wish I was into photography back then...

Id love to see this shot with the deep blue gradient in the sky, but we work with what we are given with...*sigh*
