After letting someone borrow my A75 the LCD view no longer works while taking pictures. You can view pictures fine with it and the camera still takes pictures. I'm wondering if it is broke, or just possibly some button was pushed or a menu option was messed with. My friend claims he didn't abuse the camera but wasn't sure which buttons he "played around with"

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this could be?

Thanks,
Lisa

Sounds like the display button got pressed. Try pushing it... It is the button under the LCD, you either have lcd off, lcd on, or lcd on with info... Maybe?

DOH! You are exactly right. I messed around with the menu options but failed to pay attention to the BIG "DISP" button

In case your wondering - I don't have the owners manual for this camera as I bought it slighty used from a coworker. I was even in Wally world tonight looking at replacements.

Thank you so much,
Lisa

You should be able to download a manual for the A75.

or follow links on the Canon Powershot Page
