I've been working on the redesign of my school's newspaper and am kind of at a stuck point. I tried to make it more easily readable by the students by laying it out more like a website with easy access information.
The bars on the right side just seem to blunt and I don't know how to go about fixing it to look smoother. I'm using QuarkXpress 7.0
Any comments would be greatly appreciated. The first two images are the OLD layout where the 3rd and 4th are the NEW layout
