Is this good to buy?

I want to get some kind of lighting and backdrops.....

for $100. Is that good??

That package doesn't appear to provide a lot of light. I'm not sure what the exact equivalence is, but I would doubt that a 30w flourscent will give any more light than a 250w tungsten bulb (and will probably give less). To do much, you would need to get to the equivalent of at least 1,500 watts of tungsten lights. Thus, you would need to be using more than six of the 30w tungsten to get any real amount of light. What are you trying to shoot?

The backdrop, stands, and umbrellas are probably worth the $100. The lights, not so much.

My initial thought would be ... if it's new, No, if it's used, Maybe. Would need more info to give a better answer.
