I'm thinking of switching from Smugmug to BluDomain and I was wondering if I need to know HTML, Java, or any other computing language to customize my site. I know some pretty basic C++, but I highly doubt that that's in any way useful.
Thanks

No, but you do have to know how to practice months and months of patience working out all the bugs with customer service if you end up getting a constantly buggy website like I did. Good luck.

Seems its about 50/50 of whether you'll be satisfied or not - seems they have a bad rep for customer service or lack there of, but I had zero hiccups and I would not hesitate to do it again.
My site was no problem to set up. Total time to set my pics up and have it running was hours. Watch the free tutorials: http://blusites.com/tutorials/

I have BluDomain, and it took some tweeking to get it up and running. I used a similar webhost before so I already knew what I was doing. It was up in 3 days. Customer service is horrible, my template loads slowly but it is full screen. I think it's called George?
I will not use them again when my membership expires.
