I just got my 20D a couple weeks ago, and installed the EOS Viewer Utility the other evening. I have been uploading my images to the computer using a SanDisk card reader, same as I had been doing with my D70. When I open up the EVU and click on a particular image, I see the image info in the panel to the right. I have noticed that different images seem to contain more or less info than others, but I cannot determine what criteria distinguishes them from each other. After having installed the EVU, I connected my camera and put in my name, however that does not show up in any of the images I have taken since then. I didn't see anything in the manual that helps.
Does anyone know why some images have complete info, including the ISO, exposure settings, camera serial number, Custom settings, etc., and others do not? Thanks for your help.
