8500 horizontal scratches

Hi,
Maybe something stupid I'm forgetting but when printing I get horizontal scratches on my prints, like there is something sharp cutting through the toplayer of my paper.
Anyone any idea, normally you can set a paper thickness handle but as far as I can see not on the 8500 ?

Please assist, probarbly I'm overlooking something.

Did you ever get this problem fixed? I just got mine yesterday and it's doing the same thing.

Hi,
Yes it was very easy (but also very strange) choose paper type extra glossy and it will go away.
My no canon paper works fine that way so there is no need to choose other.
