So i have a logo that is all set and ready to go however i'm running into issues. I saved my image with the transparency squares clear behind the logo but when i try to open the logo in lightroom; I encounter a solid white background behind the text, rather than just the text itself. I do have mogrify installed, but i can't figure out how to get around the text background issue. Also, how would you use your identity plate in lightroom to be used as your logo? (As a backup)

did you save it as a .jpg or as a .png or .gif?

.png and .jpg. I get the same white background behind the text on my images rather than just clean text. I don't want to batch logo through photoshop because, well i haven't learned that yet.
