Was down at Harewood on Sunday for round 4 of their championship. You wouldn't have thought it was June weather wise, but the competition was pretty good.

#1 Mk 1 Escort

I rang him up this afternoon Simon.. his number was 103 -- and he was apparently a backmarker... although I must add his words were rather more harsh than the way I decribed his performance LOL
cheers Chris

My good lady said it rained on Sunday while I was in dry Knockhill (I'll never get used to saying that). I prefer Harewood in the wet, much more interesting when they start to fall off the black stuff.

Nice shots Simon and I'm pleased to see one of the gang is still going there. They are still sending me passes and tickets but I file them in the round cabinet.

Westfield........Don't they usually use a Hayabusa engine...?

Here's a shot of him Chris at Farmhouse. From his position on the track, he appears to have left it later than most to turn in.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The Westfield driver in #3 was really on it, and despite the very changeable track conditions, actually reduced his class record by 0.5 seconds on the day.

Here he is signalling his intent on his first practice run of the day as he trys to get the speed off and get around Country Corner

Thanks Ken, I appreciate your comments. The track never fully dried out, but also only got fully wet once around lunchtime. The changeable conditions definately made it difficult for the drivers and there were quite a few offs in the afternoon. Thankfully no-one hurt or serious damage done to cars, but the delays made it very stop - start.

Cheers,

Simon.
