Pressed on two fronts

This hawk (I'm guessing red-shouldered - right LP?) would normally have taken wing as soon
as I stopped my car and reached for my camera:

but s/he was distracted by this scrappy little rwbb:

I was able to stop and shoot three times before I became the primary threat
and both birds flew away.

Thanks, CFC. Up till now, the only hawk pics I had were thru the windshield.
