Finally had a chance to tinker with my very first shoot with a DSLR (since then ive accquired my own :) ). Do any of these work for you? Theyre all at slightly different crops. I can't decide on where to crop horizontally on the building as the lighter brick I think helps with the overall image. I just dont know where to stop!

well, ask yourself this. Is the car going uphill? is the horizon straight? do you need those top half windows (you can't even see all of, just the b ottom parts) but from what you got, id take the 2nd picture.

i know how you guys LOVE selective color. for some reason, it seems to work The light on it is pretty good & it stands out well from the B&W background. I wish the background wasn't so busy, & I'd crop it, too.

thank you everyone for the C&C! its great to hear from people much better at this than myself!

well, ask yourself this. Is the car going uphill? is the horizon straight?

my intent here was experimental in nature. i leveled the picture based on the primary body line of the car. i was trying to see if i could have a horizon not straight, yet still get a good shot.

i guess it doesnt work too well! thats alright though. its an easy rotate in PS to get it level , thank you:cool:

do you need those top half windows (you can't even see all of, just the b ottom parts) but from what you got, id take the 2nd picture.

so you would prefer a crop like what is in #2 correct?

2nd pic, straighten, crop... and it'll be great

why does the horse graphic have eyebrows? ;)

beats me! i think it just adds an aggressive element to it. it doesnt matter either way since the car doesnt have the decals anymore. it just got fixed from being broken in to. I am afraid I wont be able to use if for pictures anymore due to color differences in the paint :(

I'd crop it, too

closer to #2 or tighter?

I wish the background wasn't so busy, & I'd crop it, too.

busy as in the flowers in the grass, crappy curb, brick to glass transition on the LHS, or just too many windows in general?

i can take care of the curb and flowers no problem.

thank you again all:)
