MySQL Error

My hosting provider had huge problems over the last week and this resulted in my data being corrupt. I re-installed EE and used the last known good DB backup which worked in part but since the restore I am getting various errors like the one below and I have been unable to use the EE backup Util this produces an internal server error and the files sizes of the backups produced vary.

Are these sypmtoms of problems with my EE install or still down to problems with my hosting service ??

I forgot to mention also that copying images to another gallery loses the thumbs and rethumbnailing gives the error above.

"Lost connection to MySQL server during query" (meaning MySQL server was rebooted or shut down) would definitely suggest host problems. Try the "SLOW MODE" restore.
