which lens is good specially for taking auto show, e3, ect booth babes group shots? (any low light situation) also for press conference..
EF 16-35mm f/2.8L or EFs 10-22mm f/3.5
will be used for Press

From what I've learned indoor photography needs fast lenses. I'd choose the 16-35 for sure. Also the other one might be too wide in my opinion for a press conference. I've never done anything even close to a press conference so I'm just taking a guess here. I'm thinking you'd need something with a bit more reach since I don't think you'll be in the front row taking pics.

What camera are you using? What is the crop factor. I'd think the 24-70 would be the better choice. We need more info though.

Last motorshow I took a 70-200L and a big flash gun. There's nothing quite like a large white lens for attracting the attention of the pretty girls on the stands and persuading them to pose for you...

I used my 20D and the kit lens for these lovely ladies at the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix this year:
