IN your experience which one of the above cameras has the BEST IQ up to ISO 1600 and using flash most of the times on a bracket with lower ISO's. I now use the 5D Classic and would like to upgrade to a better camera . I use the 24-70 f2.8 now Thank you rollsman

IMO the best performer at any ISO setting above 800 is the 5D MkII.

I have no experience with the 5D2 other than casual use, but 3200 on the 1DmkIII looks about like ISO1600 on the 5D. 1600 on the 1D3 is really clean. I wouldn't hesitate to use any of the three at 1600, and would take the 5D2 and 1D3 up to 3200 for sure.

When shooting weddings I use both original 5D and the 5DmkII and love both cameras! The 5DmkII is a better camera (of course) of the two and that's what I mainly use. Plus the images look pretty clean at the 1600 range, but i doubt you would have to go that high, unless you are really shooting in darker venues/churches.
I have also shot (rented) with the 1DmkIII and experienced that the focusing IQ is waay better with the 1DmkIII.. This was one thing i wished they fixed in the new 5DmkII was the focusing.. but they did not!!
I also pair my 5DmkII with my 24-70mm and a longer lens on my 5D.

I have the 5D2 and use it for events, mostly without flash. It has very little noise, even at ISO 5000. The 24-70 is the most used lens in my line-up as it never fails me. It's plenty wide on the 5D2 and still gives sharp images, you can crop tight.

I use the 1d3 and the 5d2. I put the 24-70 on the 5D2 with a 580 EX2 and use the 70-200 on the 1d3. I have used ISO 2000 at times and I have no complaints about IQ from either.

there are still tons of photographers that still uses the 5D classic and actually some do prefer the classic to the mark II .. but everyone has their own style ..
if you dont need to upgrade .. i would suggests on adding more glass or specialty lenses

Most around here seem to use 5D2 but you've also left out the 1DS2. Awesome up to 1600 and not bad at 3200/6400. Not as good as the 1D3 on a pixel level but probably better on a file level. It is a more robust alternative if you're not happy with the featureset of the 5D2 (or you like to use off-center points).
