50 min. exposure, only captured this one big monstrous meteor that left a flippin smoke trail!
which edit do you prefer? any CC is appreciated
no long exposure noise reduction was used- did not feel like waiting!

thanks Im diggin #1 too. i think the sky should be black or blue but i kinda like the red sky the more i think about it.
the last one is how it actually looked out of the camera, that color at least (did some minor adj.), i was too close to the city :(

Let me guess. THe third one is straight out of the camera, the first one is hue shifted to make the sky blue, and the second is desaturated. :)
I love the wideness of this shot, with how you can see the different angles of star movement. Was this the Sigma 10-20 at 10mm? I like it. The first one is what I would choose, but with a little contrast and levels work, the second could become amazing. Just needs a little more pop. Nice work!

all 3 are nice, blue is my favorite and these could be a great triptych together.

from where I live, my night shots turn out that orangey/ red hue. I do like the blue version- looks more "right" for some reason. Maybe if you'd included the North Star in the shot, for the trails to navigate around, the meteor wouldn't have been so eye-catching. I do like the inclusion of the meteor trail, though. Good stuff!
