My little girl was born on Oct 29, I will be taking her Christmas pictures myself shortly after Thanksgiving. Any ideas for posing a 1 month old for cute Christmas pictures? I will of course get one pic of me, her, and daddy for Christmas cards but I want some cute poses of just her too.
Feel free to share your examples.

I just did a shoot with a 10 week old, your 4 week old would work a little better for this probably...they seem to squish up a little better! http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=781326

This is such a precious age... do you have a large bean bag? I'm not huge into props, because I think babies are so perfect on their own.. So I wouldn't add a bunch of props to the images if it were mine.. You could just shoot her on a soft cream colored blanket... with a red headband on her head.
Then you can lay out a card in photoshop, and drop your images into it.. like hands/feet, close up of her lips... and of course a full body portrait.. :)
Or you can purchase card templates from a place like this... http://www.jamieschultzdesigns.com/shop/?c=3 There are lots of crafty ladies out there creating cards for sale...
Maybe put the baby in a newborn cocoon...? See this lady's offerings.. she even has a holiday one...http://mamique.bigcartel.com/product/newborn-peanut-wrap-santa Her prices are really expensive.. but if you go to www.etsy.com and search newborn photography prop.. you'll find a ton of other crafty ladies that can make the same stuff for a lot less money. :)
Hope that helps...
Here's a beanbag shot on a fuzzy white rug from walmart.. for inspiration.. nothing special.. but ...

Thanks for the ideas :)
I do have a basket with red felt lining that says "Merry Christmas" on the front and I also have a huge red/white striped Christmas hat that is big enough to slide her into like a stocking. I thought about trying out those two things.
