Hye,
Quiet new on this forum , but I already have a question !
A friend of mine received somes EF-lenses from a third for testing with is brand new 350D. (Digital Rebel XT).
One of this is a EF 35-350/3.5-5.6 L USM. It seems to be a push/pull telezoom. Unfortunatly it seems to be locked on 35 mm .
We were not able to extend it. On the other hand our friend (owner of the lens) is on vacation ! Grrrr
How does it work?
Any explanation will be welcomed !

Thanks for your answer...

There's a clutch mechanism on the lens barrel which you rotate in order to tighten/loosen the zoom mechanism. Near the manual focus ring.

Do NOT force it and take a close look at the lens. There is a tight/loose ring just at the beginning of the movin part. You have to loose it before stretching the lens. And let me know how do you like the lens. I really like mine.
