I want to upgrade my 5D classic and not sure what the best way is and not to go overboard with the $$$. I shoot mainly weddings, The 5D has been good to me but I would think there is something better. Thanks, rollsman

Are you still keeping the 5D as second camera or you'll only have 1?

But regardless, the 1DMKIII ISO is very nice for dark church and you can have the 5D as back with wide lenses. Deadly combo IMHO.

Depending on what glass you have already, the 5D2 is excellent, but buying good L glass is an even better investment.

There's nothing wrong with the 5D for weddings, many pros have used them for years. The 5DII is the latest and greatest if you like full frame, you get more pixels, better high ISO noise, and probably a few other benefits. Or the 7D if you want a better AF system but slightly less image quality.
